All 5th graders put on a wax museum for the whole school to enjoy. Kimball had to choose an influential person to imitate and chose Jackie Robinson. They had to make a poster, do research, write a speech and give it in front of the whole class, memorize their condensed biography, make a costume and dress up like the influential person, and perform for the whole school. It was really neat! The parents got to come for the last 30 minutes of school and roam the hallways of the wax museum where every 5th grader was standing. Each student had a "push me" button and when a person walked by the student would recite their memorized condensed biography. Every time the button was pressed, they student had to give their memorized speech. They also had the full biography beside them if the person wanted to learn more. So clever and Kimball did a great job!
