The kids wanted to go swimming with Murphy, so we headed down to the river. It's pretty cold water but we all had a good time.
Poor Cora ended up sick with a really bad stomach virus. I lost count after 10 how many times she threw up that night but neither her nor I got any sleep. She was down for a good week and just wouldn't eat. I have never seen her like that, it was a bit scary.
Luckily, she recovered enough to go see Frozen on Broadway with me. It was SO GOOD and I loved having my girl with me!
Remember the Standing Tall books/cassettes? We got a cassette player from the church library so the kids have been reading all about these good morals.
Lance and I went on a group date to float the Little Spokane River over on the west side of Spokane. We are definitely going to make this an annual tradition because it was 3 hours of sitting on the water while the current slowly pushed us along. It was incredibly relaxing and so, so beautiful!
Happy birthday to me!
This was the funniest thing I've ever read in my life, complete with an accurate portrait of me. I was laughing so hard I had tears running down my face and I couldn't see the paper to read it out loud. Kimball's birthday card reads:
You love and you talk
Facebook is where you stalk.
The highs and lows,
you're there for me.
When your eyebags are low,
your eyebrows are high.
In bed you lie,
tell me to go back to bed.
With a sore back,
and the patience you lack,
just makes me love you even more.
We went to several Indian baseball games this year, Ezra even got to meet Otto!
