In June Christine and Mom came up to visit for a week and boy did I have a great week planned out. But first things first - Cora just HAD to have Grandma braid her hair, that is why she's growing her hair out after all. What a sweet thing, she only wants to have braids.
The first day we spent at Silverwood riding the rides, stuffing our faces, swimming, and yahooing.
We spent one day at home for the kids to just chill. We sprayed shaving cream down the slides and the boys had a great time, Ezra even ripped his underwear.
We spent a day at the Chatcolet Lake in Heyburn National Park. The water wasn't too cold, the sun wasn't too hot, it was just a beautifully perfect day. Yummy picnic lunch and snacks, kayaking, tubing, swimming, building in the sand, and attempted fishing for Kimball.
We also went downtown to the Riverfront Park again to visit my favorite garbage eating goat, ride the carousel and white elephant, play on the wagon slide, splash in the fountain, feed the ducks, and a picnic lunch. I believe it was 103* that day so it was HOT! But the week following we had record temperatures of 114* for four consecutive days.
On our last day I found a babysitter for all the kids so us Mom's could go to Midtown Market in CDA. We had dinner there and planned for ice cream on the way home but we were too full. Mom and sister time is the best!
