Happy Fourth of July!

Lance replaced the little disc swing in the backyard with this larger one so we could fit more people in it. It's a big hit, what a fun memory for the kids.

To celebrate July 4th, we went to the parade at Liberty Lake near Shawn's house (quartet member). I was expecting a regular, good ol' Idaho parade. Nope. This parade was nothing but decorated golf carts. No horses, no semi's pulling large floats, no rodeo queens, no cheerleaders, no mariachi bands, no Mexican Jesus, no tractors, not even the Start Spangled Banner! I was a little disappointed but we still had a great time. Later that night Lance took the older two to watch fireworks. What a great country we live in!

I can't get enough of this adorable, little squishy guy. This is my favorite stage and I just love, LOVE him!

This was the best "float" - unicorn and unicorn poop.

Medical Lake with Friends

We headed to Medical Lake, about a 35 minute drive, with Julie, Chris, and Liz's family. It was so much fun, I love how all of our kids get along so well together. Good food and good company!

Kimball NEVER plays girly things with Cora so when I saw them setup the doll house in my room, there's no way I could get mad. It was so sweet and I hope he saw how much it meant to her.
I have no idea how his monkey pillow ended up on top of him.
THis necklace was mine as a little girl and I treasured it. Now it is Cora's and she feels so special wearing it.

WE LOVE DADDY!!

A very happy father's day and birthday to this amazing husband and father!

Let the Summer Adventures Begin!!!

This day we went to Riverfront Park for a few hours. The city has revamped the park adding in multiple paved trails, ice skating/scooter ribbon, preserved the carousel, etc. etc. We played at the iconic wagon slide for a while, climbed rocks, rode the carousel, walked to several bridges and saw one of the waterfalls at the Spokane River, played the piano in the middle of the park, had a picnic, played in the splash pad, and my favorite-fed the garbage eating goat. So much fun to spend time with friends, Chris and Julie's families joined us!!
