Hank Perkizer
Unknown death date
Hank was a young Indian trying to live amongst a white community. John C. Pettingill befriended Hank, took him in, and taught him to play the violin. Hank loved the music and could often be found playing at dances in Almo and surrounding towns. He wanted to be accepted as white so badly that he once said he would be skinned alive to become white. These events took place between 1881 and 1900.
