Just A Boy and His Pup

Tooth Fairy Note

Dear Tooth Fere, I spit out my tooth. Oopsies! This is Cora Cox!!!

Thanksgiving With Brimhall's

Look at my dutch apple pie this year! I had to take a picture because it was so tall, about 5-6". It was so delicious.
This year we joined the Brimhall's for Thanksgiving as family cooked half of the meal. It was so much fun, especially with all of our kids being the same age.
I got several prizes and we played a fun memory game that Aunt Nancy taught me last year at craft day. This game is always a huge hit! At the end of the game there were a few kids who only had one prize so it was sweet to watch the kids as they traded and shared prizes without being asked.

Cora Turns 10!

I can hardly believe my darling Cora is 10, wow! She's rocking her therapies, doing her best in school and academic work, and improving her social skills. I never could have guessed a few years ago how well she would be doing right now and I'm always blown away by her. Most times I'm blown away by her sass and the other times I'm blown away by Cora just being Cora. It's a joy to watch (except when the sass comes out).

This year she asked for a bowling party and wanted it to be something that her best friend, Presley, could do (she uses a walker). In total she had 6 friends and they all had a blast, it was such fun to watch them play together and cheer each other on.

Her favorite gift was her very own watch!

Trying out the hair chalks

Along with her lap desk she received some stationary and each morning we all wake up to these love notes by our door. She can be pretty thoughtful.

Her first paint-by-number project.

Halloween Festivities

Our ward had a fall festival at the church and look at Cora's adorable face painting.

Decorating haunted houses and graveyard cookies.

Lance submitted a car for the middle school trunk or treat. Of course we had to use the hearse with a skeleton in the back and Lance won for best car. At the house when we went trick or treating Kimball and Cora split off and went with their friends so it was just Ezra and I. I love palling around with him, I miss it now that he's in school. Lance parked the hearse in the driveway and laid in the casket with the bowl of candy on top of him so people had to reach inside the casket to get the candy and he would scare people. The adults and teenagers loved it!

The loot! Plus Asher, haha.

Kimnball Turns 12!

This year Kimball asked for a birthday party but didn't want to go anywhere. He chose a MarioKart party and invited 4 friends from school-Asher, Ryker, Colin, and Laytin. They all had a really great time together.
Kimball requested a DQ ice cream cake which was super expensive - $50!!! And, it was just meh so I will definitely not be doing that again.
Happy birthday, my boy!

Puddles Pity Party, Ryan Hamilton, & Les Miserables

Lance and I were able to see Puddles in concert again and this time it was at a small club instead of a large theater. We had really great seats. His show is so good and even though he doesn't talk, he's hilarious! We even got to meet him afterward and I would guess he's at least 6'7", look at the size of his hands!

We attended our first comedy show seeing Ryan Hamilton and it was side-splitting hilarious! He was a safe first choice since we already knew he was LDS and man, he did such a great job.
We also got to see Les Miserables on broadway! What an excellent show!
