Kimball's rash on his bum was not a diaper rash and I assumed that when it spread to his mouth. The blisters on his mouth appeared very quickly, within an hour or so, so I took him to the doctor. He had a viral infection, no antibiotics were needed. I asked the doctor if it was contagious and if I could go out of town since I was planning on going to May craft in UT with mom for two nights. He said, "Sure, just don't let anybody suck on his pacifier."
Now I am the infected one. I am 100% positive that it is Hand Foot Mouth Disease. It didn't seem to bother Kimball at all, the blisters didn't both him, he wasn't irritable or anything. Me on the other hand? Extreme head aches. Very painful head aches. The first night I didn't sleep a wink, not even 10 minutes. Now I'm sleeping all the time. The blisters have appeared on my hands and are extremely, intensely itchy. The blisters are the worst part and are rapidly increasing in number and intensity of itchiness.
Why didn't the doctor tell me Kimball had HFMD? If I had known that's what it was, I never would have gone to UT. From what I've read its quite contagious and I really hope I didn't get anyone in my family sick! SO, SO, SO sorry!!! I have quarantined myself since Saturday, really hope nobody else gets this!

Well she did get someone sick. Me!!! Now I'm the blistery one! I've been banned from society. I'm so bored I'm commenting on my own family's blog!
